Book tours for your sleep window
Deliberately. You want to hear the building when you would be asleep, and self-guided slots make that possible.

If you see several in one waking block, you compare them properly rather than from memory a week apart.
Apply online, not in an office
The application is online, so it does not need to happen during business hours.
Set a call window
Tell us the two-hour window when you are reliably awake and reachable. It removes most of the back-and-forth.

So you can read them when you are awake rather than trying to hold a phone conversation mid-sleep-cycle.

The mistake that costs the most time
Night workers routinely tour in the early evening because that is when they are up and getting ready. It is the least informative time possible: the building is at its quietest and it tells you nothing about ten in the morning.
Tour once at the hour you would be asleep, even if it costs you an awkward afternoon. It is one disrupted day against however many months your lease runs.
